Welcome back to training everyone. Please abide by these rules so that we at Donvale firstly can do our bit by keeping everyone safe and secondly that we can enjoy an interrupted season of cricket. Nobody wants to go back to where have just come from or worse please.

Please find the attached details that we require you to read, understand and action.

The attachments are important:

1. Donvale Cricket Club’s return to Cricket Covid plan which has been provided to Manningham Council and Approved by MCC.

2. Players Commitment to our plan which needs to be submitted by all players. Link here to make your submission – http://bit.ly/dccplayercommitment.

3. Instructions to all players which must be read, understood and put into action.

4. Donvale Cricket Club Covid safe protocols for Seniors.

5. The QR code which will be in place at Donvale. All players attending training need to scan the code at point of entry and on completion of training. If you carry this code with you Junior parents there will be no need to get out of your motor vehicle to manually scan at the point of entry. Its simple. You log in and out scanning the code with your phone.

Alternatively, if you are unable to scan the QR code, use this link to Check In & Out of the venue – http://bit.ly/dcccheckinout. The link to Check In & Out is also available on the Team App for Donvale Cricket Club.

Please help us to help you keep safe. You are precious and we are taking our responsibilities seriously.

Training starts at 12.00 pm on Cup day with a Senior Practice Match on Donvale Oval 3 [ Synthetic] followed by Junior Training on Oval 1 at 4.00 pm followed by Senior training.

Some key points:

• Our Covid plan approved by Council is in place and effective immediately.
• Maintain Social Distancing.
• Wear a mask at all times if you are not training.
• Enter the Donvale Oval 1 gate for activities at all grounds prior to participation where you will be required to sign in and out.
• Sanitise your hands as instructed.
• Come prepared to play or train. There is no access to rooms at the moment.
• Leave your bags in front of the main window of the Pavilion on the grass 1.5 metres away from the next bag.
• Maximum groups of 11 at all times once you enter the ground.

Liam McAlary is your main Covid Officer. If you have any questions Liam is your man.

Remember we are in a very visible location and we need to be able to show we are abiding by the restrictions and the plan that has been approved. Don’t risk everyone’s safety. The General public are watching. Some don’t welcome sportspeople coming into their park and will not hesitate to report any Covid non- compliance.

Warren J McAlpin
Donvale Cricket Club President
